Textile Industry

Textile industry is the largest single industry in India and considered to be one of the the biggest in the world. As for the global clothing scenario, the textile market today is worth more than $400 billion and it is still growing every year. The globalization of the textile trade has resulted into highly demanding and evolving requirements for textiles outsourcing. A variety of fabrics are produced and used worldwide in different applications like household textiles and furnishings, apparel, medical equipment, industrial and technical products etc. Recent research have shown that fabric weaving alone comprises 28 million tons of fiber every year. This figure is parallel to more than half of the global textile market.

Rubber Products in Textile Industry

A wide range of rubber products is used in the textile industry. Rubber calendering is a normal process used in textiles for making various types of fabrics. There are some types of synthetic rubber like a special type of styrene butadiene rubber latex specially developed for textile finishing.
